Olga Pekelny, after graduating
from the University of Leningrad, Russia, she taught Mathematics
on the undergraduate level, while also working on geodetic
models for the maritime and mining industries. Since immigrating
to the United States in 1978, Olga has worked for a number
of prominent companies as a database applications developer
and DBA. She also has served on QA teams at INGRES and
SYBASE, where her duties included algorithm verification
and enforcing software compliance to IEEE metrics. In 1989,
Olga co-authored a textbook: E.Veklerov, O.Pekelny, Computer
Language C, Harcourt Brace Jovanovich, College Outline
Series, 1989. The book has been translated into Spanish
and republished by EDUNSA, Barcelona, Spain, 1991. |
