Jehan Bing, Software Engineer,
specializes in rapid prototyping of user interfaces involving
multimodality, especially speech and gesture recognition,
and virtual reality. He works in Java, C/C++, and Visual
Basic. Prior to joining BravoBrava! he was the principal
programmer at the Computer Human Interaction Center (CHIC!)
at SRI International. There he developed TravelMate, a
system for use in automobiles which displays information
in 3D on the windshield. Also at SRI, he developed several
educational tools for the Speech Technology and Research
Laboratory, including WebGrader and FreshTalk, programs
that give a user feedback on the quality of his foreign
language pronunciation. He holds a degree (equivalent to
a Masters in Engineering) in Software and Computer Systems
(LSI) from Ecole Nationale Supérieure de Sciences
Appliquées et de Technologie (ENSSAT). |
